Tonnie specializes in complex corporate transactions. His experience includes advising clients on complex mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, capital markets fundraisings and corporate governance projects.

Tonnie advises a wide range of public and private companies and private individuals on company law and corporate governance issues in the UK, US and other jurisdictions. He has also worked alongside government entities on a range of complex business transformation projects.

Due to the nature of his law firm’s international practice, Tonnie’s cases frequently have an international dimension involving issues in European countries and other foreign jurisdictions.His work has necessitated an understanding of certain aspects of law and procedure in jurisdictions such as the US, Greece,Italy, Dubai, and Russia in addition to a close cooperation between counsel and experts in those jurisdictions.

Tonnie joined his current law firm as a Trainee Lawyer in January 2012. Prior to joining the firm, he completed an LLB at the Western Sydney University following his graduation from the Australian Catholic University with a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance in 2008.
